Zoomable charts X axis label spacing

Hi,
I'm using SmartGWTPro version 4.0-010514.
The X axis labels are so close to axis line that they are getting overlapped by chart lines. Please see the attached file.
I tried
chart.setLegendMargin(5);
chart.setTickMarkToValueAxisMargin(20);
but it does not help.
Is there any way to increase the space between X axis labels and the X axis line?
