textAreaItem.selectValue() - not work ?

Text is not selected in textAreaItem.
Look example in smartgwt showcase/grids/Copy & Paste/Grid to Excel.

I tested with:
Current showcase version: 4.1p, Build Fri Feb 28 2014

and browsers:
Firefox version 26 (32 bit)
Google chrome version 31.0.1650.63 m (32 bit)
Google chrome version 34.0.1763.0 (242617) (64 bit)
