Vlayout autosizing

I have a problem with the VLayout autosizing. I have several sectionstacksections that contain charts. The sectionstacksections are initial collapsed and hidden, and shown when a checkbox is clicked. When the sectionstacksections are shown, they are autosized to fit in the window even though I have the chart inside of them set to a specific height, and the result is that the charts are squished and cannot be completely seen. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
