Weve found that SmartGWT is using commons-httpclient-3.1.jar inside of smartgwtee-4.0p\lib\isomorphic_core_rpc.jar
Commons-httpclient 3.1 was deprecated in 2008 and newer version with more functionality and fixes exist. Current version is 4.3.3.
So, the usage of deprecated API limit the all advantages of new versions usage, moreover it can cause some unpredictable issues. However, the packaging in old and new versions was changed and it looks promising. On the other hand we suppose some cases when static members can have affect for both libraries.
Are there any plans to migrate on the newest more powerful version?
