Portal Layout - Stack columns based on screen width?

I am creating a pretty straight-forward implementation of the Portal Layout for an application dashboard and have a question regarding how the layout can adjust the columns to different screen widths. The portlets will mostly contain charts, so there will be a minimum height and width for each portlet.

Is there a way to arrange the columns so that they fill the horizontal space if available, but stack on top of each other when the screen width is reduced?

For example, if a user sets up a 4 column portal layout on a large resolution display, and then uses the system later on a smaller display, instead of the columns shrinking or the user having to scroll horizontally, could the right most one or two columns instead appear below the first two columns? (or whatever number of columns fits the current width).

Or should I just be using one column that grows and shrinks?

Any advice regarding how to approach this would be greatly appreciated!

I am using SmartClient v9.1 2014-06-08 Pro.
