empty value in databound picktree

Hi,

I have following problem.

I have datasource with "colors" (color_id, parent_color_id, name) that I use as data for PickTreeItem.
User can select a color from hierarchical menu, but can't turn back to empty null value?

Is there an easy way to show an null value in Menu?
