Uipload image file from SmartClient to Oracle DB

I want to upload and display an imgae file DmartClient to Oracle DB. I found an example for HSQLDB. But when I tyy to upload it to Oracle BLOB datatype. I got an error.
Do you have any example or insturction to update and display image file from/ to Oracle DB.
