not able to work with canEditCell

Hi, i am having ListGrid with several fields and one of of the field having the config "setCanEdit(true);"

based on the above config, i can edit the specified field but my problem is, i don't want to edit the cell when status is complete.

i have seen the smartGWT docs and found that i can use canEditCell but i am not getting any idea how to impliment.

kindly please help with proper example.
