DynamicForm ItemChangedHandler does not fire when setRevertValueKey

PROBLEM

I have setup my DynamicForm to use the ESC key to revert an TextItem that has been changed. Each time I type in the TextItem field, I get an ItemChangedHandler event. When I revert back to the original value however with the ESC key, the ItemChangedHandler event does not fire.

I would like the ItemChangedHandler to fire so that I can render visual cues to the user that the form is clean or still modified.
