Why libraries in GWT doesn't work?

Hi all,

I was runing a simple sample as in :

http://www.tutorialspoint.com/gwt/gwt_applications.htm

it works fine but in this sample it doesn't show the alert dialogbox.

or in other samples I can't make use of texbox ...
what could be the problem
I checked everything, but still no result
