ListGrid Expansion column and Selection columns changed order

We have been using SmartGWT version 2.5 for quite some time and were evaluating the upgrade to 4.0.

We have a ListGrid that has both the checkbox for row selection and an expansion component. In version 2.5, the expansion control column was the first column and now in 4.0 it is the second. Is there a way to control the order of these so we can get back to the 2.5 look and feel?
