grid field dropdown not opening up on grid filter

Hi Team,
We are facing one issue with grid filters.
For some of the grid fields the dropdown list does not open up on clicking.
For all these fields: the records have only one value available in that particular grid.
In one of our environment the same grid field dropdown opens up correctly but in others not.

Please suggest what is the correct behavior?
