How to make DateTimeItem field read only?

Hi,
We have upgraded Smart Gwt-4.0p to Smart Gwt-4.1p(10 March 2015)
Browser : IE10, 11, Google Chrome: 43.0.2357.37 m.

I am using DateTimeItem and DateItem. I want to make it read only so user can't edit the value once it is selected form calender.

If i set the properites dateItem.setCanEdit(false); then calender icon also not clickable.

Please provide me support if any other properties is available.
